NASCAR returns to Vallelunga: the great American-style show is ready to ignite the weekend of May 17-18!

After the success of the opening round of the season in Valencia, the NASCAR Euro Series is ready to land in Italy for one of the most anticipated events of the season: the NASCAR GP Italy at the Autodromo Piero Taruffi in Vallelunga, on May 17 and 18, 2025.

A unique event in the European motorsport panorama, where the spectacular nature of NASCAR cars merges with the all-Italian passion for racing. Two days of adrenaline, entertainment for the whole family and an unparalleled show, both on and off the track.

The NASCAR Euro Series represents the international face of the legendary American NASCAR. The cars with over 400 horsepower, completely devoid of electronics, with the unmistakable sound of V8s, guarantee hard-fought races, wheel-to-wheel overtaking and brawls until the last lap. At Vallelunga, the public will be able to watch four official races, two for each of the categories in the race: PRO and OPEN, with the best drivers in Europe (and beyond) ready to challenge each other curve after curve.

The grid will be even more international and competitive, with 19 nationalities represented, including established champions and young emerging talents ready to show off in the heart of Italy. And the Italian drivers, starting with the reigning champion Vittorio Ghirelli and the winner of the 2023 title Gianmarco Ercoli, will once again be great protagonists.

But the NASCAR GP Italy is not just speed. The event is designed to involve the public of all ages: paddock open to the public, autograph sessions with the drivers, pit lane parades, fan zones with activities for children and families, exhibitions of American cars, simulators and much more. The “Pure Racing” format takes motorsport outside the traditional schemes and makes it an authentic and accessible experience for everyone.

Saturday 17th May will get straight into the thick of things with qualifying and the first races of the weekend, while Sunday 18th will be dedicated to the decisive rounds. Emotions, celebration, and lots of entertainment: Vallelunga is ready to experience two days as a true capital of motorsport.
